The implementation of my design thinking unit on simple machines included a template set up as an inquiry journal for students to track their progress in the design process.
Using Doodly, a white-board animation software, I portray how life was like growing up as a twin.
This story was a Remix of a classmate, Rachel Dicken's story, COVID Town, using Animaker. Animaker is a platform for creating animation and live-action videos.
StoryMap by Knightlab is where design, technology, and storytelling intersect. This storytelling software allows you to tell a story using locations. Take your learners on a journey through history by way of an interactive timeline or StoryMap. In my example, I walk viewers through my own story through the use of location.
In this newsletter, created using the digital software Smore, I reflect on INTE 5340 Digital Storytelling class. This class met my expectations and more. From the large amounts of flexibility to the comradery and professional growth, this course provided a timely outlet for me to take risks and experiment with different digital tools and mediums without the pressure of creating perfect projects. I appreciated the fun and relaxed tone Instructors, Brad and Ben, both set at a time when the outside world was so serious. To read more click on the image below.
